Dr. William Archuleta is a postdoctoral Clinical Psychology fellow who provides psychotherapy and psychological assessment services for children, adolescents, and adults. He holds advanced training in child and family psychology, which informs his understanding of how early life experiences, relationships, and family dynamics shape emotional well-being across the lifespan. Adopting a family-systems and relational psychodynamic approach, Dr. Archuleta emphasizes building a collaborative therapeutic relationship to act as the catalyst for exploration and insight into a client’s given needs. While not engaged in clinical work, Dr. Archuleta enjoys spending time with his wife and young son, as well as playing and performing music on his marimba.
Dr. Archuleta received his Master’s in Psychology and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at the APA accredited program at the University of North Texas, in Denton, Texas.
Dr. Archuleta has provided evidence-based psychotherapy and assessment services across a variety of clinical settings, including community mental health centers, university counseling centers, private practice, and academic medical centers. Most recently, he completed his APA-accredited internship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UT Health) and Clarity Child Guidance Center (CGCC) working primarily with children, adolescents, and their families. He has advanced training in comprehensive psychological evaluations and psychotherapy with children and adolescents. He has experience offering individual therapy, group therapy, and psychological testing in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Archuleta also provided therapy at the University of North Texas Counseling and Testing Services working with university students, as well at the Cohen Military Family Clinic at Metrocare serving veterans, service members, and their families.
